2025 Boo Run 5K Recap
The members of the Flowery Branch Lodge would like to apologize for the issues that happened at the 2025 Boo Run.
From what we have gathered, a group of young boys managed to pass the lead police car at the start of the race. These young men strayed off course onto roads that were not shut down to vehicular traffic. The officer leading the event felt compelled to protect and redirect those who went off course, so he changed course and got in front of that group. Apparently, the rest of the field followed the police officer.
We understand that this is unfortunate for those of you who were planning to use your times to qualify for the Peachtree, however, those times are not valid. Our Lodge also hosts the Spring Fun Run in May and that is a Peachtree qualifier as well. Please be assured that we are taking measures to make sure nothing like this happens in the future.
